These also bring in rewards and XP, so they're worth working your way through. Each time you level up your Adventurer's Level - different from each character's level - she will give you a handful of decent resources.Īs well as those rewards, there are different missions you can complete each day from the Guild. In Mondstadt, there's a vendor who gives out the daily quests - covered below - and the Adventurer's Guild rewards, so you should visit her at least once a day, or more if you level up. Statues can even heal your party and grant sizable Adventurer's Rank XP and permanent stamina bonuses as you level them up with Anemoculus and Geoculus found across the world. Both will give you XP, and Teleporters make the game much more convenient. They're on the map even if you haven't activated them, so it's just a matter of hunting them down. To get resources for both sets of upgrades, you need to gather them in the world - more on that below - and destroy the weapons you aren't using through the inventory menu.Īcross the world, each region has some Teleporters and Statues for you to activate.

Click on the Weapons tab and select Upgrade using the recommended materials the game offers is the most efficient way to level up the weapons quickly too. It's great if you pull a rare one from a pack, but without that slice of luck, consistently upgrading one per main party member will work too. Much like characters, if you level up any weapons, they'll get better. It's perfectly possible for you to get 4 characters to Level 40 (the current max) through general progression with no money spent. Through regular play, you'll pick them up fairly quickly when we reached Adventurer Level 15, we had the resources to Ascend Lisa, Xiangling, and the Twin without looking for them.
Ascension costs a handful of rarer resources, which differ from character to character. Regular leveling costs some Mora (one of the most common currencies in the game), and a few other common resources. You can do this fairly easily up to level 20, where you'll need to Ascend each character, which unlocks at Adventurer Level 15. This is done through the Character menu, where you'll need to select Level Up. Pretty much all of the characters are somewhat viable, so once you settle on your favorites, you can upgrade them.
